more than 7GB ang file na ito, pwede ko bang i-delete ito?
since its a log file, i assume it is safe to delete it, basically its a text file containing activity information >> login, logout, file transfer dates, etc. etc.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson
langhya, bakit umabot ng 7GB itong log file na ito?!
whats the draw back of deleting this? d ba masama bka me ma change na program function or something?
Yes, it is safe to delete Drwtsn32.log. It is an application dump which is generated automatically by the system when an application crashes or encounters exception (hang, fail, etc). The only purpose of the file is for troubleshooting (if you want to know why an application crashed). Everytime na mag drwatson, the system will dump the latest app crash (cumulative). By default, 10 instructions + 10 errors ang nase save per log file. Malamang yung kay boybi 7G na kasi more than 10 errors ang nase save per log plus baka pati "Dump Symbol Table" na select sa options.
Pwede mong i-configure ang system to save few errors per log. Just type 'drwtsn32' without the quotes in the START>RUN window. Makikita mo ang drwatson window. Pwede mong liitan yung values ng number of instructions and errors para hindi masyadong malaki ang log file.
in relation to crashes and software instablities, is it true that an original OS is less prone to these system crashes than the pirated ones? how true is this? thanks in advance ,,,
that's a huge log file ng dr. watson. has your system been running okay naman boybi?
ok pa naman, except tuwing boot up ng winxp, lumalabas palagi error message ng microsoft .net. gawa yata ito ng update software ng hp printer.
ahhh. but that could be one possible reason why the log file grew that big din. :D
Dr. Watson overview
Dr. Watson for Windows is a program error debugger
The information obtained and logged by Dr. Watson is the information needed by technical support groups to diagnose a program error for a computer running Windows. A text file (Drwtsn32.log) is created whenever an error is detected, and can be delivered to support personnel by the method they prefer. You also have the option of creating a crash dump file, which is a binary file that a programmer can load into a debugger.
If a program error occurs, Dr. Watson will start automatically. To start Dr. Watson, click Start, click Run, and then type drwtsn32. To start Dr. Watson from a command prompt, change to the root directory, and then type drwtsn32.
