    IBM PC. black and white monitor. 2 floppy disk - yung malaki. walang hard disk that time. boot lagi sa disk tapos ms-dos ang OS.

    First Computer was a 486, MS-DOS and Windows 3.1, 5-1/2 Floppy Disks, 3-1/2 Floppy Disks.

    Then our prof gave us floppy disks with a virus :seeth:

    niwde, pareho yata tayo ng first PC a Thomson din monitor ko pero monochrome green lang. And Stavor din power supply ko

    Una kong nakuhang virus is (c)Brain.

    Games na nilalaro ko: Montezuma's Revenge, Championship Boxing, 1-on-1 Dr. J and Larry Bird, and yung olympics na game.

    Nagaral din pala ako ng BASIC.

    My first PC was a Toshiba Dynabook 486 with 40megs of Hardisk and 4 MB of RAM, loaded in later with windows 3.1.

    The first computer I used was an Apple IIe. It only had 32kb of ram, and if I remember correctly used an 8086 CPU (hindi pa 80286). No hard drive, you had to load the DOS everytime you boot, 51/4" floppy disk drive, green 8" monitor and you have to make the software yourself (Basic programming). It was really hard to use.

    Later I got to use Wordstar (for wordprocessing) and Lotus spreadsheets when they became popular. But you had to memorize all the commands - no pulldown menus.

    In work:

    First worked on a Tandem NonStop CLX720 from 1991-1994.
    Then, Tandem NonStop CLX840 from 1994-1997.
    Compaq NonStop S7000 from 1997-2003.
    HP NonStop S76000 from 2003-2007.
    HP NonStop NS-140000 Itanium 2007 up to present.
    NSK, COBOL, TAL, TACL, DSM/SCM, NonStop SQL, Prognosis, Golden Gate E/R

    Super blazing speed of 486DX-33MHz Ultrahigh tech processor
    Enormous RAM of 16MB
    Gigantic Harddrive space of 1GB
    And state of the art OS, Windows98. hehehehehehehehe


    pero kahit ganun yun, i treasured that PC a lot. It helped me finish my papers which got me 1.00s from my profs. hehehe

    bro, me turbo ENIAC at UNIVAC nun? what about your first computer SAP(simple as possible)? afaik based sa BasicComp101 de papel pa gamit nyo.:evillaugh

    same here mine is Apple II+ pa and best part of it, i just kept it in our bodega after a few years and is still i think working pa though not being use already...

    First computer:

    1. walang HDD
    2. Boot on a FDD (5.25" lock by turning a key clockwise....)
    3. Save files on a FDD
    4. Monochrome monitor
    5. Great MS-DOS commands

    Later on save na sa audio tape (Sharp Computer.... sa computer lab sa school), and then HDD (5MB then 10MB then 20MB .....)
