primary phone: Nokia E61 (Smart)
back-up phone: Sony Ericsson K610i (Globe)
primary phone: Nokia E61 (Smart)
back-up phone: Sony Ericsson K610i (Globe)
Back-up phone is a K300i using a SUN line. Primary phone is a K610i using a Smart plan.
yes! i use nokia n70 as my backup phone. pero not really a backup phone kasi globe nka lagay dun tapos smart yung nsa SE ko.
before i have, because my unit before is company paid and we are prohibited in using our lines outside of business purposes.
but now, what i have here now is being paid personally. so i don't see a need in carrying two phones.
I've been reading and most of the reason for backup phone is due to area coverage. Has anyone thought of having a backup phone due to reason of having lowbat? I myself is an extensive feature user of my phone and i can drain the charge in 8-hr period. Just figured out maybe what I need is a backup battery, not a phone, hehehe
Ako primary SEk810i (Globe plan), backup/business line is samsung u700 (sun plan).. Kaya 2 phones ko kasi laging walang signal ang sun, pag umaaraw lang hehehe.Tsaka iba convenience ng 2 phone, pag lowbat/no signal yung isa may backup ka pa and vice versa
Yes, I have two phones. Yung pangalawa, dedicated sa Sun. Primary phone is globe. Di ko na ilalagay ang models dahil I'm partial to the most basic models (read: chipipay lang, both Nokia), pang-call and text lang. The 2nd phone is not really a "back up" because my primary phone is always charged. I get a lot of text and call inquiries from litigants, pulis na humihingi ng advice, etc. and so I keep a "public" number (Globe). I crave some privacy and reprieve from the daily assault of SMS & voice calls, kaya meron akong Sun number na iilang tao lang ang nakaka-alam. Erratic rin kasi ang signal ng Sun. There are many places in my province na walang signal ang Sun or sobrang hina, tapos madalas ma-cut off (there should be a separate thread for Sun users...dami problema), kaya kelangan ko yung Globe na generally, reliable ang signal at madaling kargahan ng load.
talking about backup phones, gusto ko sana ipa-clone yung sims ko. 1 Smart, 1 Globe, 1 Jawal (Saudi SIM) into 1 para isa lang dala kong phone. Anyone know where such service is offered?
TIA
Finally decided to get my backup phone, ang guess what its 1110i... cheap, lasts 3 to 4days without charging even with heavy texting... it doesnt hang at all and very responsive... hehehe baka nga yong P990i ko na ang maging backup phone... hehehe
sayang, di ako umabot mag-suggest ng model hehe.
I'm using an LG KU250 kasi as a backup phone to my O2 XDA IIs.
3G phone na sya, relatively long battery life (at least in my experience) and ginagamit ko rin sya to surf the net on my laptop at Php10/30 min.
Pero ok na rin yang kinuha mo. Ganyan kinuha ko for my uncle and satisfied naman sya sa ease of use and long battery life
Yes,
