    Are there any ways of disabling the touchpad of my lappy? I went to control panel/mouse/touchpad on/off tab then i select disable. Still my touchpad is enabled because I can still use it.

    You can go to the BIOS and do a hardware control. That'll fix it.

    and how will i do this? is it standard that every BIOS has this feature?

    yes, it's standard.

    Read the manual, the concept is the same for all but every brand has a diff way of getting inside the BIOS interface.

    Not sure why it doesn't work on yours. On my Satellite, the Control Panel thingy works, and so does Fn+F9. Maybe you need to reinstall some drivers/applets from the recovery CD? Or try searching for updated drivers on the Toshiba website.
