    i've been using it for almost 3 months now. it's not DSL but something like wireles LAN. speed could reach as fast as 1190kps and the slowest is 260kps. minsan nacu-cut nga lang bigla yung connection pag malakas ang ulan at kidlat. meridian is marketing this service at the rated speed of 280kpbs. service is limited to metro manila area only depending on the availability of their network signal. i'm located in alabang, they have a relay station somewhere in sucat near bf homes.

    how much is it? tama nga ba P799/month lang? and how far are you from a smart cellsite?

    it's not using smart cellcite althought this company is totally owned by pldt/smart. i think it's not using the GSM frequency. P800/month promo di ko inabot (mid march). my monthly bill is P998/month unlimited use.

    Hi pissword,

    Php740 MSF. Ocular inspection and installation na ako this coming Saturday. I'm expecting a distance of 0.32Km - 0.5Km.... depende sa N-LOS ko.

    Yes, Wi-Fi product is not using GSM frequency but rather using the radio frequency (for example, 2.4GHz for 802.11b or 11g, 5GHz for 802.11a).

    Nung nagapply kami dyan sa Meridian sabi nila kailangan matayo sila ng antenna na pagkataas taas at ilalagay pa daw nila yun sa second floor ng bahay namin kaya nung malaman ko yun hindi na kami nagpakabit.

    Definitely kailangan mo ang antenna and that is the CPE and AP. Hindi sya pwedeng mobile. Pero pwede sya sa laptop. Kung gusto mo mobile mag PLDT WeRoam Mobile ka nga.

    who will provide the CPE and AP? kung sila na din ok lang...

    ok na sa akin kahit dito lang sa bahay yan.. at P800 na dsl ang mura pa din ha.. although d ko alam saan ang smart cellsite dito hehe.. im here around singalong corner san andres manila kasi.. medyo crowded

    Meridian will provide these for you. AP will be installed in Cellsite and the CPE will be installed in your premise.

    Meridian will visit you and do an ocular inspection... kapag may N-LOS ka sa inyo that is the time they will install your CPE.

    ang alam ko dito pag madami kayong subscriber sa area nyo eh you will share the bandwidth. di yata dedicated per subscriber. malas mo pag sangkatutak kayo sa neighborhood nyo na naka-meridian. babagal connection speed mo.
