Digital Camera: Where to buy?

Saan shop dito maganda bumili ng Digicam? Yung maraming pagpipilian.

Nothing fancy, just your regular digicam, of course, at least mga 3.2 or 4 MP.

Pang regalo lang kay kumander for Christmas. Suggest na rin kayo ng brand, ang gusto nya yung mga maliliit (compact size).

you could try those electronics shops at quiapo, mura talaga dun compared sa mall prices, pareho ding one-year warranty and brandnew. we bought our powershot a40 there. so far, ok naman.

good brands are: Canon, Nikon and Sony. (although mas mahal ang Sony compared sa dalawa)

yep hidalgo. canon is a nice choice. i'd go for a canon a80 or an a95.

try mo quiapo... or if may kilala kang pauwi ng states meron dun sa nikon, yun mga ginamit na sample displays less $100 nila binebenta...

sa quiapo mura lahat eh... so far wala naman problema na-encounter sis ko dun sa mga binili niya...

I suggest you get pentax. Really good brand for a very reasonable price. This guy is selling, my friend boght a couple from him already and i'm abot to purchase one also.

And since mas-mura sa US (30-50%), baka may kilala kang uuwi sa December, pabili ka na lang. Problema lang warranty.

Yep, sa hidalgo sa may Quiapo. Kay Henry's din ako nakabili ng Olympus Camedia ko. Nakuha ko less P2,5k (against mall price) yung digicam ko. Dun na rin ako nakabili ng rechargeable batteries and charger. Suyurin mo yung mga shops kasi yung tawad varies per shop. Yung iba tinatapatan lang yung bigay nung kabilang shop. Bluff mo na lang. Happy digicam hunting.

medyo mahirap bumili abroad, bumili ako ng Olympus 5060WZ dati for $700 sa US, nagloko dito after a month or so... i had to ship it back for repair (hindi daw magawa nung local service center kasi bago pa yung model na yun at that time)
