b) Canon Powershot ASeries, although these are a little bit over 10k.... Mga 12k ata ang basic price neto.

Meron kaming nakita sa FunDMentals sa SM North Edsa, digicam pero medyo low tech, 1MP lang saka walang screen. Pero ang maganda, may casing na siya na pang underwater up to 50ft. tamang tama pang beach . under 3k.

There are quite a few from Kodak, Polaroid, Vivitar, etc... Just don't get the China ones na wala talagang kwenta hehe... 2.1MP is sufficient for regular 4R prints or web pics.

Canon A460 ang maganda kung less than 10k ang budget. Wag kang kukuha ng kodak at baka isumpa ka ng bro mo

I like the Canon A-series! Well worth the money you paid for it! My girl even has the old 2MP Canon A-something. But hey, it works great and they run on AA rechargable batteries (translation: cheap and aplenty!).

The A520 should be less than 10k by now. Slow lang yung flash recycle time kasi 2 AA batt lang.

OT: di ba talaga namang 15 or 16 ang pasok sa college? You usually turn 16 while in your freshman year.

may grade 7 sa school nila eh, he got accelerated. hehe.

yun nga yung problem ko with the budget cams eh, flash recycle and battery life, pati na ren image distortion.

oh well, i'm getting him a ixus 800is (found a cheap, brand new one), para naman tumagal yung camera. papamana ko na lang sa kanya yung d40 pag marunong na sha.

dagdag lang ng choices. baka maka kita ka ng mga lumang casio models.. (QV series).. runs on AA. oks pa rin hanggang ngayon..
wag ka kuha ng no name/china brands.. sobrang walang kwenta yan. sasabihin 6++ MP pero puro noise and unpredictable yung saturation..
