Digibox question

Hi we recently switched from analog cable tv to digital (destiny to sky ) and i have a few queries.

1. ok lang ba leave on yong digibox? o dapat off din pag off ng tv?
2. malakas ba sa kuryente if leave on yong digibox?
3. yong remote, meron ba nabibili na generic/universal (as backup lang nman) sabi kasi technician, 800 daw yon sa office nila

looks like unversal remote will work

Got a universal remote. Was able to use it for my Skycable Digibox.

The Skycable digibox unit was manufactured by COSHIP (it says at the back of the box). I went to Abenson and looked at the list of manufacturers from the various remote control models. A number of them has COSHIP in their list. The brand I bought was RCA. Works perfect for SKy Cable Digibox.
