So far I've resisted buying a notebook/laptop because nothing out there offers a decent combination of portability, performance and battery life.

    That stops NOW.

This thing has serious performance AND a decent battery life! Price isn't so bad for what it offers either - at current exchange rates it costs PhP37,000.

Seems like it has my name on it. Trouble is, where could I find one locally?

I'm not sure if Alienware is available in the Philippines. But, Alienware laptops tend to be rebadged versions of other laptop makes. You may find a similar one under a different brand.
