    If I'm reading this right, you want to keep using a trial version of software and trick it into continuing to work past its expiration date........ It could be in the registry and then again, it could be somewhere else.

    I remember doing this with WindowBlinds back when I had Win2k Pro. I just kept resetting the date each day both in the bios and Win2k itself. It worked.

    Add: I tried it with other software. But, it's not really worth the effort. Plus, their manufacturers have gotten smart. Resetting the date doesn't work anymore.
