My WD live just died on me...what's the cheapest I can buy now? I don't want to shell, out 5k for another media player...meron ba 1k-2k? Which can play MKV, mp4? As you all know "pirates" stop uploading avi files now...

I don't need HD capable, I dont DL HD series anyways. Component connection pwede na siguro.

At that price, madalas ko makita na ok is egreat. Pero if you can stretch your budget, Mede8er would be a great brand. 2 years warranty and continous yung support/update. Pati old models may update parin ngayon.

If you have a laptop, that might be your best bet especially if your TV has a VGA or HMDI port.

This CDRKing media player is a hot item right now. If everything on the spec sheet are true, at under 3k, this would be the cheapest full-featured, connected HD media player.

My home media player is actually a branded desktop Intel Dual-Core PC. Wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Wireless LAN connectivity to my download server. Sound is through a home theater system.

Great for watching movies, tv shows or just browsing the internet. It even has a tv tuner so I can watch currently aired tv shows...
