Ok ba ito when compared to ipods, creatives and such?

Mukha naman silang ok; my mother-in-law gave an MP4 player to my father-in-law as a Christmas gift, bought from CD-R King.

Flash drives: I bought a PQI 4GB model last week for 1.7k. To think that I wanted to buy a 1GB one for the same price last year, good thing I put it off. Look for ones with a write-protect switch.
CDR-King MP3 players: they're okay if you're not picky, and not unlucky (short warranty). They sound good and have a decent battery life, though some models may have awkward positions for the controls. Ako kasi di pwede sakin yang mga yan kasi gusto ko ng gapless playback, but for the price, they're fine.

My wife needed a flashdisk and a simple mp3 player, And bought her one from CDR King 6mos ago. It still works as well as when I first bought it. It has simple controls that my wifey appreciates, and at P990 for 512mb, it was a good deal.
Battery life is OK with the 1000mah AAA rechargeable ni-mh's. Depending on usage it could last for 3 to 5 days. I could have bought one with a built-in battery, but I prefered the ones which have user replaceable batteries.
She usually plugs it in the usb port without the battery, we found out that if you leave it in the unit, the unit would stay on when you unplug it from the PC. No real issue, just wanted you guys to know. And I'm taking about the inexpensive P990.00 model, so your experience may vary.

try mo na lang i-audition.. learned my lesson a few years back when i bought a generic player, I hear an irritating muffled ringing at the end of high notes (cymbals, female voices).. its different for every person, what matters is that it sounds good to you.
also consider the warranty, make (baka madali masira), and the ease of use..
