While we marvel at the achievements of AI created by US. I believe China's AI would be more powerful. The food of AI is data. Unlike US AI which is hindered by data privacy laws, I assume no such thing for China. It will have access to private data of Chinese including bank data and/or health data.

There's an app in China now that that will determine approve or disapprove a loan application in just 8 seconds, it is using AI to determine.

We all know Google and Microsoft are harvesting data from its users, we also know Chinese phones around the world are harvesting data from its users. I won't be surpsired if these data are being fed to their AI.
