dapat the telecoms should start to offer more free voice minutes. sobrang mahal ng rates natin dito compared to other countries. dapat magkwento sila 5Speed and ICB dito sa thread na ito kung ilan ang mga free minutes nila sa HK, and they can even switch networks without changing their number!

pag nag-convert na ang telcos and naging receptive na ang govt. laws sa 3G,
mag-rebirth ang Cellphone Industry. sharing megabits of data, audio, video, photo at the speed of text. imagine the possibilities. video conferencing
thru phone, sending multimedia documents thru phone, interactive viewing, learning
and chatting. we are approaching the limitations of GSM technology na, that's why.

ako gusto-gusto ko makapunta ng Japan to witness yun 3G technology nila duon, may sarili sila mundo. pero d naman ako nakakintindi ng Japanese characters/language eh hehehe

I think the next billion-peso battleground for the telecom companies would be BROADBAND INTERNET SERVICES. If they bring down the cost of broadband internet (coupled with competitive quality service), the prepaid internet companies will eventually become a niche market. The features of Broadband internet are very attractive, given the amount of material out there in the world wibe web. If they can bring down the cost of 256 kbps to P500 a month, ISP Bonanza will be dead like what happened to EasyCall.

there is one major drawback here, even if we are transferring megabits & megabits of data in the air, just like WiMax at 75mbps ... baterya pa din
ang problema. Sa WiFi na lang lakas kumain ng power, mag-internet ka
sa umaga, sigurado d ka na makakatawag sa hapon hehehe

Unless the technology of the fuel cell batteries (1 month charging time interval) reach our shores, the benefits of wireless broadbrand can never
    be fully maximized.
