imho, don't spend too much on cellphones. sa bilis mag depreciate ng value nila (specially nokia), its better if you get quality and slow depreciating units.

as far as i am concerned, samsung phones depreciate so slow. in fact, yung phone ng wife ko dati na R220, i got it for P 8k three years ago, and it still costs around P 5k now.

based on my suggestion above, since wife mo i think is really not into techie gadgets, the wise buy will be the V200 (the Matrix phone). It still costs around P 18k considering it went out 2nd quarter of last year. Kung sa Nokia yan, below 10k na yan.

or if you really don't want samsung phones, go get her the SE Z600. its a modified T610. Yun nga lang clamtype sya and it is a little bit bigger and heavier than the T610.
