On a serious side, you can actually use a cellphone as a tracker. If you are a SMART subscriber (post paid), you will need a post paid account sim card and a cellphone unit which can last a long time (Nokia 1100 or 1110 will last more than 1 week). You can hide this in your target's car.

Using SMART's locator service, you can use your celfone to track the tracer unit's location. All you will need is to attached the tracer unit somewhere it is not to be found. If you can wire the tracer unit with a car charger, it would be much better since no need for you to retrieve the tracer to recharge/change the battery.

Globe has a similar service but is said to be less accurate than Smart.
