    Not necessarily
Sa amin gated townhouse/subd, gamit namin 2mp dahua starlight, colored at maliwanag kahit gabi. Also at 8 cams yung 2tb is only good for 11 days recording.

Aside from the fact na gusto ko makatipid, I saw a comparo of 1 and 2 mp on youtube, malinaw na naman pareho, but the advantage of the 2 mp is when you zoom on the face of the person. Problem ngayon, hindi lang legal, but mandatory ang face mask, which makes it easier for someone to case your surroundings

Planning to buy this, any advice from those who already have this? It also requires 6 pcs 18650 batteries, which I found out ranges from 100-200 pesos each, any advice on this also. Thanks img_20220403_210740.jpgimg_20220403_211352.jpgimg_20220403_211425.jpg

Makikibalita din ako regarding this. Need to place a camera sa maliit na bodega across the street, sana abot wifi signal.

I already ordered 1 this morning, now my problem is where to buy good 18650 batteries. Anyone know a reputable seller in Shopee or Lazada? And what's a good capacity for IP cam use? I read that for high drain devices it's best to buy the lower capacity of 2400 mAh.

^its not just an IPcam its a movable cam (pan and tilt)..the motor will drain the batteries quick if you move the camera view a lot

during night time when theres no chance the batteries will get charged the IR lights will drain it

^let us know if it has an AI feature which follows the moving human subject automatically..that will drain the battery kasi

if thats the case just power up the device with a DC adaptor

Yes it has, PIR ang tawag nila, but I gave up on it this morning, hirap i-configure, so I need to talk with their CS, which will be hellish since simple questions pa lang sa umpisa hirap na makipag communicate, Chinese translated siguro so I just decided to return it. I hope the refund goes smoothly.

About DC power, meron naman kasama, but the reason I bought this is ayoko na sana ng wires. Now I'm just going to settle with the traditional wired packages. It's also much cheaper, 10k may 4 cams and HDD ka na, vs this na 3.5k per cam.

Ganito yung balak ko bilhin. Yung may homebase, dyan ma record yung videos and images. Then yung camera eh wireless both power and internet, siguro twice a year lang mag charge depende kung ilang beses mag record.

Need help from CCTV experts here please. So I bought this TP Link outdoor ipcam, how do you seal the power connections (red circles) against rain? There's 1 pc of rubber seal included, but how about for the other one, can I use electric tape na lang?

For the wired connection naman (green circle) which I don't intend to use for now (maybe later if I need more quality connection), it comes with a waterproof encasement, should I install this and tape off the end or just simply seal with electric tape also.

    Thanks.img_20220912_114656.jpg

pwede mo siguro itago sa isang utility or junction box tapos saka balutan ng electrical tape.
