Our first LCD TV was a Skyworth 37" .... though an unknown brand then, its still working fine after 4 years (now entertaining our househelp with noontime variety shows and telenovelas)

My bet goes to LG ... we have a 47" in the bedroom and a 52" in the living room ... best bang for the buck!

yeah. LG 460 (42") does play NTFS USB HD. Heck it read even my 1 Terra WD Passport (which is 2.0/3.0 capable).

plays AVI, etc. even 1080p formats and H.264 videos.

Blue ray lang ang hindi na play (MKV files)

I agree. Samsung are the better LED/LCD TV. For now I have an LG 42" LCD. I didn't buy it anyway. Just won it in a raffle.

But if you want LED, Samsung is the best choice.

Daming LG and Samsung na nag susuffer from Backlight Bleeding issues that's why i stayed away from it. Bought a Panasonic 42 Inch Full HD panel instead...

Other brands na kokonti ang issues are Toshiba and Sony
