It's cheap since it's a Series 3 Samsung LCD. I think the latest Samsung LCD model now is Series 8.

Samsung lang yan so mahina ang quality (from experience).

Also, is it 1080p? because you can get an LG LH70YR 32" 1080p for around 20K. Mas matibay pa.

^^^ That's too cheap for a Scarlet. AFAIK, it's still selling for around 26-27k at this time. Word, however, according to the owner of Sights & Sounds Shangri-La, is that the LH70 is a discontinued model. It was selling like hotcakes around Dec. 2009/Jan. 2010, at the 29k price point (from 39k).

As for me, I got a 40" Sammy 40B530. Coming from a 29" CRT, its a big leap in terms of viewing experience. Watching HD movies is pure bliss, especially since I also bought a PS3 (for watching Blu-Ray), and an upconverting DVD HTIB.

For those planning to buy a 32", just one word: DON'T! Save up for a 40-incher, at the very least. In a few weeks, you'll regret buying it and wished you should have purchased a bigger screen. And if you're conscious of your electric bill, don't buy plasmas, although SD content (cable and FTA channels) look way better on plasma than LCD.

Im here in Muscat, Oman for a teaching job and TV set is not included in the accomodation, thats why Im looking for one.

I got myself a 46" Bravia W Series lately. Bagsak presyo na dito sa Saudi kasi may bago ng modelo, yung BX, EX series and those 3D LCDs. I still have a 32" Bravia, but Galactus is right. It's worth watching movies on a bigger screen, especially those High Res. movies.......... Panalo!

and from 149 riyals (17.8K pesos) lalo pang bumaba at naging 129.5 riyals (15,540 pesos) na lang nang bumili ako.

may libre pa palang wall bracket at installation.

they're probably trying to get rid of older stocks since that's still series 3; and, that model came out 2 years ago.

Tama ba to? Di ba ang palitan lang ngayon ng SAR eh 1 Riyal = 12.3 Pesos?

If you compute the above-quoted price kasi, lumalabas na 1 Riyal = 120 Pesos.
