Buying IPAD Mini sa US, advisable?

I have a relative in the US who would be returning home soon. Mas mura ba sa US ang IPAD Mini? Dito kasi around 15k ang 16 gig. kelan ba ang sale sa US?

mura sa US pero pag nag add ka ng tax eh halos nasa 2k or less na lang ang difference kaya mas advisable pa din na dito ka na lang bumili pero kung warranty is not a concern, sa Greenhills pwede ka makipagtawaran unless na nagkaubusan ang ipad mini same as last year lumabas mas mataas sa greenhills kesa power mac kasi wala ka mabibili sa authorize reseller ng apple

talagang mas mura yan sa US. ang kagandahan pa pag doon bumili, may mga "freebies" na karaniwang hindi na FREE pag
dito ka sa pinas bumili ng unit. sa pagkaka- alam ko, pag nagkaroon ng SALE sa US, sabay- sabay 'yon sa lahat ng
authorized distributors. same day... same terms... lahat ng shop USA- wide.
prices outside US is about 20- 25% higher that the advertized prices in the USA.
for me, i'll buy the units here if the price difference is less than, say, 2,000 - 3,000kesos.

kung wifi kang pwede na since pauwi naman pasabay mo na lang pero walang difference yun price konti lang...pag celluar+wifi, pabili mo yun model na pwede sa LTE band natin

Nung unang labas ng Ipad 2 sa US, April, nasa Vegas ako. Pila talaga ng madaling-araw sa lamig makakuha lang ng unit. May mga kasama ako nag-try pero wala naman nakuha. Pinakamalapit yung isa na pangalawa dun sa cutoff. Nae-enganyo na nga sana ako bumili dahil nag-check ako ng gray market price dito mga +/- P30k pa for 16G+Wifi. as against around P23-24k doon. Di naman ako mahilig sa Apple products pero I was thinking lang it was an opportunity to get one at a relatively low price, tapos bragging rights pa rito na nauna ka. Well, nakauwi ako at di rin nakakuha.

Before June, it was out in the market na, albeit limited pa sa umpisa, at almost the same price had I got one in the US. Sa Ipad pa lang 'yan. Dami ko na rin nabili at bibilhin sana doon na pagdating dito, pareho lang or mas mura pa locally. Then you have the advantage pa or at least store warranty.
