Sh*t, hardly anyone would be spared from these inspections.

I just HOPE they only look at the OS (because my copy is legit) pero what if they look at other software (my Microsoft Office 2k3 is pirated so only costs 500 pesos).

I too, won't want my PC confiscated because I need it badly.

You can download and install OPENOFFICE. Its free and looks & works like MS Office. Its also able to open and save into MS format documents.

That's why my shop have been doing brisk business the last few days. Many of the other shops have closed because of the raids. Since I have original Windows licenses for my PCs, I can stay open.

Hello!?! In the first place hindi sila dapat nagbukas kung wala silang pambili ng original softwares.

There is this internet cafe at the second floor of the Gilmore IT center, that has Windows XP evaluation copy installed on all their computers. The computer I used had so many apps and games installed. I thought this version of Windows, as the name suggests, is designed to have its features crippled?

You don't have to shove it to their face or engage them in a senseless debate. Nasa third-world country ka kasi 'pre, so you should be more understanding. Just leave them alone. They know what they are getting into. You don't have to participate in this Gestapo operation.

Nasa third-world country ka kasi 'pre, so you should be more understanding. Just leave them alone.
    Ang illegal ay illegal, tapos.

They know what they are getting into. You don't have to participate in this Gestapo operation.
Actually, I like to participate. Baka gusto mong sumama, pards? Haha.

So lumabas din ang tunay na kulay. Meron ka lang personal agenda that's why you want to quash the competition. I see nothing wrong with that, you just have to emphasize your real motive for hating those who use pirated softwares rather than trying to be noble about using licensed software which we know are very expensive and few people can really afford.

bulk price of ME was * 3.5k+, last time i checked w/ my supplier friend. kahit gawin pa 4k e kaya na cguro yan ng cafe owners, 'peace of mind' ang kapalit nyan, worth it di ba? at di kapa parang magnanakaw na kelangan magsara just to avoid being raided by authorities. not to mention kung makahanap ng Win98SE e lalo pang mura.

Haha! Hindi ako lanshop owner kaya your statement falls under... guess what? S-L-A-N-D-E-R. Paano kung sabihin ko sayo na I own a Mac na walang pirated softwares? I'm not trying to be noble, nasasaktan ka lang. By any chance, lanshop owner ka ba o fan ng pirated softwares?

Hehe... Funny.

Kasi ayaw mahirapan...
