Updating supposedly makes it faster, but its quite complicated to downgrade
Maybe the lady downloaded a bunch of useless shiz

I got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 16GB WiFi+3G, GSM Quad Band

I kinda find it hard to use compared to my Note 2 I hope my Mom will not have a hard time learning to use this

There are fewer settings to customize pa. The screen keeps on locking and I do not know how to fix it

I have the galaxy tab 7.0plus. wifi+3g. My bro recently gave my mom an ipad2 after a few tutorials she seems to get the hang of it. though my mom has been surfing on a netbook I gave her a year ago so she only needs a few pointers. BTW she's 75yrs old so you still can teach old dogs new tricks

Re: screen time out, go to settings, set screen time out duration. baka naka set sa 30sec timeout tab nyo.

Re: SIM slot, di push in/out lang yan? mine works like a regular cellphone sim slot.

That's good to hear My mom is 70 yrs old and she recently learned to text lang I adjusted the screen time out to 1 min but doesn't the tab 2 have a setting na it won't time out as long as you are looking. Pressure kasi when reading ebooks

Yes the sim is push in/out lang pala. I saw a youtube unboxing kasi saying na the sim slot is permanent
