    What is the best HD LCD TV in the market now? I checked the Sharp Aquos 42" LCD TV (forgot the model) recently and I was not impressed with the picture quality. The price was around 120-130K with free stand or wall mount or HT.

    Samsung LCDs looks impressive. Parang "naungusan" na yata nila Sony. Features and looks wise, lamang ang Samsung, although I haven't tried checking the other brands though.

    Yung Sharp dati, sila no. 1 sa LCD, yung Aquos.

    Samsung has the best value for money...marami na ring nagsabi na maganda ang after-sales service nila over at pinoydvd.com

    Yung Sony naman, nasa 80-90k ++ pa rin yung 32-inchers nila. Parang overpriced masyado. Eh Samsung as low as 59k na lang yung 32", tapos may HDMI port na yun.

    Parang hindi e. Parang LC-42P*** and LC-42B*** yung model. Ang difference ng P sa B is black na yung borders nung P na parang Samsung. Yung sa B is parang grey ang border.

    I spent around 2 hrs kanina sa Automatic Center in Glorietta checking out the flat screen TVs displayed there. Sa mga LCD TVs, the best PQ for me is the Toshiba Regza, then the Sony Bravia comes next.

    And with a price tag of 109K for the 42" model, with free HT, pedestal and wall mount, tapos 18months 0%, I'm tempted to get this.

    I asked about the burn-in problem of plasmas, sabi nung salesman, hindi na raw problem yun. May new feature daw to prevent burn-in ng mga pixels. Kusa daw mabubuhay yung mga burned pixels after around an hour of viewing.

    Eto yung model:

    Panasonic Vierra TH-42PV70 Plasma TV

    Features :

    * 1024 x 768 Resolution
    * 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio
    * 1080p Digital Processing Chip-set
    * 1080p Digital Re-mastering Processor
    * 3072 Equivalent Steps of Gradation
    * Advanced 3D Color Management
    * Motion Pattern Noise Reduction
    * Sub-Pixel Controller
    * VIERA Link (HDAVI Control 2)
    * High Quality Elegant Design

    Ganda pala ng reviews ng plasma TVs ng Panasonic. Here's a thread about the TH-42PV70 from pinoydvd.com:

    (d) Samsung and Sony are burn-in prone. (Sony discontinued its plasma line)

    What are the price ranges ba ng mga 42" LCD and Plasma TV?

    Considering na wala pa ata HD broadcast sa pinas..is it worthwhile feature?
