August 3rd, 2009 01:21 PM #1hi peeps, ano sa tingin nyo? sounds like a good deal to me. The upside is it's got discrete graphics already -- the only catch is that it's stuck at 4gb maximum RAM.

August 4th, 2009 12:39 PM #2hmm...not too many reviews on this notebook out on the net...it's retailing locally at around 40k; feeling ko sulit na. so far i haven't gottent any negative feedback re asus notebooks, and my eeepc has been holding up pretty well despite my abuse B)

It doesn't seem to have an HDMI output which is pretty useful when viewing media on HD TVs. It should have one i think because it already uses the latest line of nvidia mobile GPUs. baka di lang naisulat dun sa article.

August 10th, 2009 10:15 AM #4i really dont see any red flags on this unit, except the absence of a spill proof keyboard. This could be a dealbreaker since i live with my two pamangkins, who have absolutely no respect for technology B)
Pero ang kwento naman sa akin ng salesperson, kahit di daw spill proof, matapunan man ng liquids e gagana pa rin, so long as it isn't completely drenched. Medyo duda ako since why would Asus bother to harp on the spill proof keyboard on some of their units, or why they would fail to mention that the K40IN's keyboard is spill proof...

Salesperson eh.
Mukhang ok naman itong model na ito although quite pricey considering the graphics level (it's not really that good) kasi yung may built-in graphics nasa less than 30 lang.

Yes, on-board. Usually integrated with the Northbridge.

Basta ayun, kung tutuusin ok naman iyung specs for its price. Bagong design din from Asus.

FYI. I will buy already this morning but I change my mind after the sales person told me its only one memory slot and the other one memory 2gB on board already.
I will try call asus to confirm this issue.
