I have a shuttle xpc at home. sk43g entry level. very convenient gamitin at sobra luwag lalo na pag i-partner mo sa 15" LCD monitor.
I also bought shuttle dvd rw yun aluminum bezzle para match na match sa aluminum casing.
masikip lang mag-assemble sa loob but after that ok na gamitin kahit san ko ilipat sa bahay madali lang.
ok sya if you're doing like multi-media applications like firewire. kasi built-in na sa xpc, so cable na lang bilhin mo, you can connect your firewire cable videocam at home na din.
pero yun mini-keyboard/ optical mouse/speakers that come with it, wala kwenta.
didnt use kasi ang hirap gamitin and sobrang low ang build quality, and the speakers are at par lang dun sa tig 100 na speakers na available sa malls.
here's a sample nun sa akin. I bought it around 10k sa PC Shack last Nov. 2k5. sila yun distro dito

IMO you can do away with the floppy drive, almost all the new boards can do a CD boot.
Space saver talaga, pero limited ang upgradability, lahat ng magiging add-ons mo external na. :D

sadly you cant. lalo na pag install ka ng SATA drives. I just bought 250GB SATA this week, yun xp hinahanap sa diskette yun SATA Drivers. tried booting using bootable CD and Bootable USB Drive, no success!
bad trip 'tong SATA na to talaga. pero kung naka Vista na daw puwede na daw.
IMO, it's a bit unfair to judge someone's patriotism because they have a Chinese car. We do not...
