SOMIC MS300 WIRELESS HEADPHONE (Over Ear)

    REVIEW (2 days):
    - Battery life = Wow! impressive!
    - Extra = ok sya for me na walang budget for better choice ng headphone pero gusto na may dedicated headphone for tv.

Charging time, after 3 hours hindi pa battery full.. Ang gamit ko ay normal charger lang.. Next time, gamitin ko yung VOOC Charger ng Oppo baka mas mabilis sya mapuno..
3 weeks waiting time nga lang..
UPDATE: More than 1 month tsaka lang ako na-voice prompt ng "battery low"..
Satisfied ako after 2 months, sulit na sulit na for me..
[emoji41]

I am using Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37x for my pc. It costed me around 10k including tax I guess. Kasi imported siya.

open-back siya and the microphone is very clear.

Yup, I watched a separate review by the same youtuber for that TWS and it seems a good choice. Neutral sound with wide sound stage and a good mic.

Nasa shopee cart ko na, ₱2,999. Although I'm still deciding as most of my TWS only lasted 1 to 2 years. I don't know is ₱3k is worth to only be used for 2 years.

I needed something wireless so I could remain connected to zoom meetings anywhere from my 2nd floor workstation until the gate of my house to receive Lazada/Shopee/Grab deliveries. Bluetooth was not enough. I ended up with a professional wireless UHF IEM system, Sennheiser EW 300 IEM G3. Bought mine second hand for about 25k, because the current G4 model costs a whopping 70k+ locally. I can plug in any headphone, from my IE40Pro to my HD650.

*MODS PLEASE DELETE THIS POST. DUPLICATE. THANKS :-)

So apparently those multiple drivers earphones of a popular Chinese earphone maker KZ are "fake", they are real drivers but are not being used. It's like having a multi camera phone but only one camera is actually working.

You can't really trust these China products, I think I'll stay with non-Chinese audio equipment from now on. [emoji1751]

I remember buying an audio technica earphone with just 2 drivers and it's expensive. So when these cheap Chinese earphones pop out with 3 or more drivers I was in disbelief with their price.

This guy on Facebook are testing other models and other Chinese brands.

Is that the logitech speaker that has fake tweeter? I think someone said that there is a higher model with a real tweeter and logitech just used the same mold the manufacture the case to save on production cost. And someone mentioned that its written on the box that the tweeter is design purpose only.

With this kz issue, the drivers are real but not being used. I guess the cost of tuning these drivers together will jack the price up so they just put it in there just to be able to claim its multiple drivers.

I think this would be an easy DIY though to fit a decent tweeter, plus paper capacitors as 1st order x-over network.

Edifier is the current Altic Lansing I guess, offering good sounding speakers at a reasonable price.
Gone are the Creative Labs/ Creative Works, Logitech, Labtec value offerings with decent performance.
It's mostly Bluetooth PC speakers now or soundbars that costs an arm and a leg for those decent ones.

    BTT:

Used to be that you buy a full size headphone from the likes of Pioneer, Audio Technica, Shure, Philips, JVC or Sennheiser.
Then you plug it into your (now vintage) amplifier and adjust the bass/treble to your personal taste.
Today they have mostly discarded the tone control adjustment, or if there's one... it will most likely be software based.
So now if you want to get the sound you prefer, you either buy a new headphone or a new amp.
Rinse repeat until you get the sound signature you're looking for.

So instead of the tone controls, we have amp/ headphone/ op amp rolling instead to tune the sound.

Reminds me the setup of my uncle, he got 2 large loud speakers as high as a table, then 2 bookshelf speakers hanged above his setup. Then and equaliser, receiver and turntable. I remember him building the speakers himself together with a carpenter for the wood. I assume his setup is not expensive and mostly sourced from Raon.

That was 30 years ago. I wonder if he still have it.

logitech z333 says the article. on sale they can go for less than 2k and for a 2.1 setup, its a good buy and according to reviews, have decent sound as well, if one can get over the fake tweeter part

Dinagdagan mo pa. Ear tip rolling is a thing din nga.

Been to some of these semi-futile exercises.
Sa ngayon happy na ako sa Koss Porta Pro ko with LG V20 or laptop.
Or yung Sony MDR-7506 driven by the XDuuo XD05.
Yung iba inamag na yung headband and/or yung earmuffs.

[emoji16]img_20220424_093842.jpgimg_20220424_093902.jpgimg_20220424_093950.jpg

I'm looking for a bluetooth headphone I can use at midnight for movies. My soundbar has no "voice mode".

This seems a good buy, just for the 95 hours of battery life. It seems I would only need to charge this once a month.
