Seems there are some shops selling no-name/lesser known brands of rack mounted servers, just wondering if any are available here.

Speaking of which, si SuperMicro pa rin ba ang cheapest ?

yes dude, super micro pa din.
ang mahirap sa ibang non-branded na, yung warranty and availability of parts.

gagamitin po sana sa internal servers namin for development/testing. i'm trying to make case for it sa office. Price is always a barrier

I don't believe much about the warranty. Servers are generally over-engineered in the durability department. I would say most common failure culprits will be memory and power supplies rather than the board itself. I had 3rd party caddies shipped in from HK and ordered Intel SU3500 SSDs off Amazon.

I really hate mga enterprise hard drives prices locally. Asar sobra yun patong.

Hmm, impression ko naman is nagmahal talaga siya because of the floods and political instability in Thailand.

Kumusta naman reliability ng SSDs sir, any different from traditional enterprise HDs?
