sir have you tried checking the update source in the Update Settings?

yes have tried all the update source and nothing works.. plus kaspersky slows down the system. and it's not even scanning. given up on kaspersky.. have done a search and read that there are many users with the same problem as mine and kaspersky also gave the same ... re-install solution that didn't work.

Ganito nalang ang gawin niyo install kayo ng comodo firewall free at avast free edtion combo the best po yan... comodo firewall top po yan compare sa mga paid version. nasubukan kona yan kaso ang gammit ko ngayon ay NIS 30 days trial (may trial reset naman ako dito )

i have Kaspersky antivirus installed and still has about a year of subscription. problem is, after every updates it's virus data base is still obsolete or out of date. email kaspersky support a couple of times but the one reply was a computer generated reply... saying to re-install... but it did not work... now kaspersky acts like a virus eating up CPU usage and RAM... slowing down the lappy. when i stopped kaspersky.

1. Open Kasperksy window.
2. Click on "settings".
3. Click on " update" the globe icon on top.
4. Click on "update source."
5. Click on +add.
6. enter http://38.117.98.202/
7. check on the new entry above as your update source.
8. Run an update now " problem solved."

the weird thing is... on my wife's lappy it sometimes gets updated then the next day it's obsolete again. then on my laptop and netbook it has been about 4 months already that the virus database is obsolete even if i update it everyday. we have the same setting. i've been using kaspersky even before it was popular. but i noticed when it became popular. it slow became bloated and eventually used up resources to run.

i'm now on bitdefender trial version will see how this one performes

Meron ako Kaspersky and within a week ay mageexpire na license ko... meron pa bang point yung Kaspersky sa laptop ko or delete ko nalang? Hingi na din ako ng suggestion ng magandang free antivirus na maganda kapalit ng Kaspersky,

Kasparovsky este kaspersky gamit namin sa ofce ninenok ko installer at license key para mgamit sa bahay. Hehe. :D

Palitan mo n lng sir nun microsoft security. Freeware lng un effective din naman.

Mine is microsoft security essentials, nadedelete yung files ng mga pinapasok kong memory card or usb. idk kung laptop ko may problema o yung mga usb. hahaha!

Okay yan MSE back-up with a good firewall and anti virus software. Genuine windows os lang pwede magkaroon ng MSE.

Just get new keys, delete the old one from the license agreement then install the new one. You're good to go.

Im also using kaspersky internet security 2013, still working after 6months, bought it for P1,300/3user/year sa sulit. the seller is a vietnamese college student living here in manila. regarding its performance, Mabagal lang sya when you startup the pc, everything then is flawless.

try mo avast - anti-virus
malware malbytes - malware
zonealarm - firewall

so far yan ang setup ko, ok naman....

regarding sa speed ng pc niyo boss... i suggest you check out SOLUTO.... great program to check background apps....

baka meron kayong alam na good malware & firewall software....yung crack/pirated lang :D
