check mo ROVER. they have diff. kinds of cameras to suit your needs..
this is what i'm using now.. 4 camera set-up: 2 dome, 2 bullet & 500gb DVR.. got the package for around 18k last 2013 (monitor not included).. til now di naman nagbabago video quality.
Rover is actually just a branded china CCTV but it's the most convenient. There are many other options but you need to research. Also check computer shops, they also have them.
You can search on openpinoy.
Kaya kahit brown out or pinutol kuryente nila e recording parin..
planning to buy fake or dummy CCTV pandagdag lamang... ok ba? san pwede bumili?
we have Rover 4 cam set up. get the HD cameras for better results.
there are stand alone cctv cameras that use sd cards, just like the dash cam for your car. mas maganda ito kesa sa dummy cameras.
HD 16-channel Hikvision package ang sa akin. Malinaw sya kahit gabi pero medyo pricey lang.

im also using hikvision for home and office. using 16ch dvr + 16 IR cameras and 4x 2TB hdd (configured to raid 5). had it for about a year now. so far only had busted camera adaptor issue one time which was replaced under warranty.
was using dmax (korean brand) initially but had reliability issues. only use this now as redundancy system.
Using rover, 8ch, 8 cameras, 1TB. More than 2 years na di pa nasisira, 24/7 use.
Anyone using a PT or PTZ outdoor Ethernet (wired or wireless) cameras that are truly exposed to the weather (sun, rain, wind)?
How well are they holding up? Any recommendations?
I plan to install one at our property facade, looking out on the street. It will be facing east so it's exposed to the sun from sunrise til around noon.
I'm also looking for CCTV solution. May nagdi-dingdong ditch sa gate namin. Problem ko hindi abot wifi sa gate and I would need electrician para mag gapang ng power line towards the gate.
Pero naiisip ko masyado magastos na solution para sa mga bata na nanloloko.
The best solution is to remove the bell, it's irrelevant now. Internet call is the new doorbell.
Anyone who needs to use a doorbell will most probably sell you things or a solicitor.
Oops, there's online deliveries pala, well they just have to call you or shout at the top of their lungs [emoji13]
We are using those IP cameras in our place somewhere out there. Serving its purpose very well.
For 600 to 700 pesos per IP cam, very sulit. The good thing is you can install the app to your phone and view it live anywhere you are. You can also subscribe to them so you can review the videos, if the need arises.
We have 8 of them, working well for more than two years now.![]()
For 600 - 800 kesos, the camera is very clear! I have 2 Tapos ip cams right now and will be installing a 3rd one soon as it arrives. I think I will be complete with 2 more but I doubt if my 25 Mbps internet can handle the load as we are using it for the TV and PCs also.
So ok Naman Pala. Mukhang durable Naman din Pala maski budget meal set-up. [emoji16]
Where does it source its power ? Kelangan naka -on parati Ang light switch ba? Ilan gb Ang sd card na gamit niyo ?
Hindi Naman Siya prone to moisture if outdoor socket Siya installed? Sa garage ko Plano isalpak sana since kita Naman main gate din sa field of view I'm assuming.
