I know meron ng "recommended latptop thread" but they are talking about a wide selections, I'm more specific on the Acer aspire series..meron na ba sa inyo nakagamit, good and bad points please..thanks

I'm looking at their low-mid range model...I don't have any plan of spending P50k or more for a laptop which I will replaced faster that I can replace my clothes.....

more or less 1 year to 1-1/2 years max ko lang gagamitin then bili ulit ng bago...so the least expensive the better...

ano marecommend niyo doon sa aspire na mgandang bilhin? bang for the buck

When I was laptop shopping for my sister, I only considered Acer, Asus and Neo (went with this for portability).

What I like about the Acer is that some of its models have an AMD processor... which is a bit better for laptops (with no dedicated video card) than its Intel counterpart. Like this model:

The higher-spec version of that is already sold out.

    Pros:
    - value for money (cheap!)
    - ready to use out of the box (everything's preinstalled)

    Cons:
    - No Bluetooth (pero ok lang)
    - I hate Vista Starter!

Battery's about 3 hours average (6-cell). Not bad na din.

Mine is yun processor ay AMD Turion. Have it for more than a year na.

Ok naman sya, fast, ganda ng graphics, wide ang screen, very nice dolby stereo. Matibay naman dahil bugbog sa kakagamit ng kids ko.

Mabigat sya for a laptop pero malaki naman kasi ang screen.

Vista Home is ok for our needs. WiFi is easy to use.

Problems that I've encountered sa kanya ay:

    - Naputol ang pin na sinasaksakan ng AC power supply. Manipis kasi eh. Pero pinalitan na ito sa mas makapal na and for free.

    - Sometimes ayaw nya mag boot up. Read sa internet ang solution is to remove the battery, boot up using AC power and return the battery. Happens lang rarely though.

Overall, its a pretty decent machine and fun to use.
