Looks like they were just cruising to me because if they were actually racing, then, the lambo was driven by a girl.

Keep the Lambo and I'll take the Vette anyday, the $200K-$300K I save from it I can use to make it even faster than it already is as stock.

the ZR1 is always king to me when it comes to the straights. hehe noticed on curves at the vid that its eminent problem with the curves still exists.

If you know how to drive a RWD car that is not a problem and as far as it being better in the straights the Vette sucks as drag car because of the IRS. Mustangs and Camaros with live axles can beat it anytime with comparable power to weight. Every episode of Pinks All Out I have watched has high powered C5 and C6 Vettes losing to old muscle cars.

That only really matters when launching. A live axle can ostensibly take more torque and wheelhop. But on a racetrack, like that, it doesn't matter, because every corner exit is a rolling start.

Lambo driven by a girl? Wouldn't need to be. The Corvette ZR1 has as much power as a Murcielago (or more, depends on which version Murcie it is) and is somewhat lighter. The Murcielago might corner better because of its superior balance, but they should be evenly matched.

That's exact why the Vette sucks as a drag car and would be better in a road course with curves to show it's handling ability. But evenif in the video it just keeps up with the Lambo the Vette isn't that much less of a car as the price difference would make it appear. Sure fit and finish isn't the same as the Lambo but is the difference worth the extra $200-$300K in price. I know the performance difference isn't as much as that price difference.

What is this Corvette ZR1 chasing?
