Another reason maybe why drifting is not that popular here is because of the paucity of rear wheel drive cars here in the country... most drifters in Japan use RWD vehicles
rwd cars are better for drift but fwd can do it too (but not linked drifts though).

One of the major reasons why drifting is not popular here is the local roads aren't really that good. Another is the bad driving habits some drivers.

LOL, , you ought to hear the discussions and downright fighting elsewhere on whether FWD cars can actually drift... some guys just don't have any imagination... :D

if fwd cars can't drift, what about those civics drifting around japan? but like I said, rwd are the choice cars but not necessarily jsut those can drift.

FWD can lose rear grip. Don't know if that qualifies as drifting. Hehe.

The reason why drifting is not very popular here is because not many people can afford new tires so often.

.....drifting wouldn't catch on as much since it requires a different set of skills. delikado na nga drag racing (illegal) what more kung mag try ka mag-drift? if you're too chicken then that's good. do it in a controlled environment instead, i myself would wanna learn it kahet sa slalom course lang.

    .....also, mahal goma!!!

yes, it is indeed also a 240sx. depending on where you're from, the s14 could be a silvia, 240sx or a 200sx. most people refer to its chasis code to avoid confusion. In this case, we use the chasis code, S14. it's less confusing that way
