not really safe but I do it when I have the opportunity when I am driving to some destination in the city. Usually these would be the twisting roads I know very well and have predictable traffic. But its only a single slide and not a sustained drift.
i think hindi.... marami pa kasi ang naho-hook sa drag racing eh.... and people find drfit racing a very expensive sport kasi magastos raw sa gulong.... pero ako, personally, i love drfit racing.....kung meron lang akong kotse saka may makakalaban ako, bakit hindi, di ba? pero here in iligan city, lahat ng tao addicted pa rin sa drag racing...... mapa-bata man o matanda......
sana meron. pera lang talaga. pero kung hindi issue ang pera. passion ko talaga cars and racing.
i remember yung sabi ng parents ko na nung bata daw ako iyak nang iyak at d alam ano gusto..then nun nasakay sa oto ng ninong ko para dalin ospital tumahan na. bwiset na bata talaga no. oto lang gusto..hehe

hey peeps, based on what I observed, talagang maliit pa din ang Drift Scene sa Pilipinas. although, meron din na magaling na Drifters pero konti pa din sila. and yes, expensive din ang Drifting kasi malakas ka gumamit ng gulong.
anywayz, I would agree na mas IN pa din ang Drag Racing, compared to Drifting in the Philippines. but only time will tell kung kailan talaga mag ka-catch up ang Drift scene sa laki ng Drag racing scene.

tsuchiya yung gusto ko i-type. waahh mali-mali na ako. lapit kasi ng u at i. haha.. pero tama Tsuchiya nga. drift bible. meron din yung Brit/English version na gamit nya yung 350z kaso mas in-depth yung kay Tsuchiya san. Meron sya program na MotoRING tapos may mga touge challenge sila. di ko lang nasusubay-bayan kasi more on top gear at fifth gear ako.
I was thinking of imitating Initial D on Tagaytay's downhill, but with those square metal studs separating the lanes, it's simply impossible. It just might be done in Kennon, but unlike Akina, there are no guardrails there (self-explanatory). :lol:
