I'm inviting everyone who has an itch to go fast to join the next Touge Battle.
Lots of bone-stock daily-driven cars:
And then of course there's this 20-year old Civic LXi that laps faster than B16 SiRs, BRZs, and WRXs:
It's not as stressful to the tires - I hardly had any tire wear. It's a bit hard on the brakes but only if you do consecutive runs (which only happens in the semis onwards), though my stock brakes survived and are now back to normal.
Best of all, you get to spend an entire day talking to real people who actually know a lot about cars instead of dealing with online trolls. 😉

The 2.0 was also OVT tuned, with matching OVT stickers to go with the camo paint. It's more the driver than the car if you ask me since the other 1.5 was just as fast as the 2.0. Much cleaner and tighter lines around the track for Jeff vs the other Mazda 3s that were there.
I thought it was Arjo you were referring to as the Ring King haha.

Haha...Arjo is the star...****star.
Oh yes, driver matters more. OVT does custom tunes down to the fuel you prefer & where the power & pull appear ....Knowing Jeff, he must've been overly specific w/ what he wanted. Many of the OVTd opt for balance tunes w/ FC factored in. Some even go more on FC than ponies. I'm not really surprised w/ the results.

Saw the FB picts!
How much entry fee bro Jut?
You explained the concept, One strike lang ba yun then out ka na?
Never tried track and no experience in racing, will you still suggest it?

3k entry fee bro.
Bale here's the mechanics:
1. Cars are grouped according to category so you race against cars with similar displacements. Yun nga lang, walang limitation on mods so a bone stock car can go head to head against a fully modded car as long as they have the same displacement bracket. Only exceptions are Honda B-series engines which are automatically 1 bracket up.
2. Everyone goes through qualifying, after which the head to head matchups are determined (fastest qualifier usually skips to the next round or gets the easiest opponent/slowest qualifier).
3. Head to head matchup is best of 3. First round, car A leads. Car B is released 4 seconds after. If after the lap, the gap between Car A and B is less than 4 sec, Car B wins. Otherwise, Car A wins. Second round, switch places. In case of a 1-1 tie, you go into a 3rd round. Winner moves on to next round to compete against the winners of the other head-to-heads, loser goes home.
4. Repeat step 3 until you have a winner for the bracket.
Very safe setup because you reduce the chances of hitting each other because of the 4 sec gap, and because it's a head to head matchup. Basically it's time trial with a bit of a chase. 😉

There's always a 1st time. Track is the safest place to enjoy speed & hone skills.

What would the car bracket for a mini cooper 2.0 jcw be?

*Jut - how about small displacement turbo engines? You mentioned before there is a plus factor only. What class will the Fiesta 1.0T, Civic 1.5T, Golf 1.4T, and Focus 1.5T belong to?
x1.5 displacement for small turbo engines.
Fiesta 1.0 x 1.5 = 1.5 = Economy
Civic 1.5 x 1.5 = 2.25 = Premium
Golf 1.4 x 1.5 = 2.1 = Premium
Focus 1.5 x 1.5 = 2.25 = Premium
This applies until the equivalent displacement reaches 3000cc, where it gets classified as Turbo+.
