Racing mufflers on T-Diesels

I was wondering if you can put one of those freeflow racing mufflers they use on cars on a turbo diesel?Because ive seen some with 2.5 inch and 3 inch inlet. Pwede kaya gamitin sa turbo diesel?ano kaya mga effects?

sabi sakin ng mechanic kung di ka naman racing o anu man, better na mag stick ka nalang sa stock kasi ginawa yan sa specs mismo ng engine baka imbes na gain HP mabawasan pa sayang naman

If it's a turbo diesel, you won't lose any power from putting a muffler on it.

But there's no guarantee that you'll gain any power from a muffler, as the exhaust system is more than just the muffler. It takes a well-matched and built exhaust to make good power.

All a muffler will likely do for your turbodiesel is increase noise. There are easier ways to make more power, like an intercooler/sprayer upgrade, which helps your engine run cooler, more efficiently, and make more power.

i have 2 mitsu pajeros i equipped with a larger diameter muffler. the only difference that i noticed is the acceleration. mas mabilis umarangkada yun naka wide diameter
