    the tanks, humvees and helicopters uses the same fuel -JP8 (jet fuel 8).
    thats what makes refueling faster daw.
    di kaya switchable diesel/petrol ang engine ng humvee?

    hey guys....how to upload a pic...the M998 HMMWV is a diesel and you not switch a gasoline, the M1A1 abrams tanks are petrol and uses the jp8 fuel

    According to CNN, all the vehicles of the US Army from the tanks to the humvees to the planes run on JP8. Ewan ko kung anong conversion ang ginawa nila, pero mas efficient nga naman sa logistics nila kung lahat ng sasakyan pareho ang fuel.

    dude trust me the M998 HMMWV (Humvee) are 6.5 liter waterproof diesels....so with the M35 6x6 trucks. there were no conversion done on these things..the civilian hummer does uses a gasoline fed engine...peace out

    A hummer can run on JP8 or Diesel. Ayun po ang pagkakaalam ko. It can also use a variety of oils and fluids depende nga sa logistics.

    did some quick searches. the humvees in the field are definitely running JP8. certainly an amazing fuel for its versatility.
