Renault who? Both of the blue cars didn't score even a single point... gave both Kimi & Schumi some more optimism for the championship.
Schumi initially took P1 in the grid... with a staggering 0.9s lead over the 2nd highest qualifier (Trulli). Though I can only imagine that tire problems / deterioration kept him from winning the GP.

mclaren surely has the complete package. Reliablility is their only problem. Imagine, Kimi was the first to do the qualifying and yet, submitted a respectable time. What if he started in the later part of the session when all the rubber was laid by the others?!
Alang sinabi yang si BABA! hehehehehe! Iniwan na nga siya nung later portion ng race e! (pasensiya na sa mga fans ni Schumi). PAlitan na nila dapat Bridgestone nila.....

Plus, Michelin is even hinting that it WILL / CAN forego some of the teams under its wings to foster healthy competition between the two tire manufacturers.
Though for the pre one-tire-per-race seasons, Bridgestone had a slight edge over Michelin.

I think Michelin for this season has an advantage against Bridgestone. Look at the recent performance of Ferrari... Michael was not able to perform at its peak due to rear tire problem. Halfway through the race.. Pudpud na ang bridgestone

I wonder if Pirelli will make a comeback as a tyre supplier for F1 teams.

I really like what they did in F-1. It evened up the playing field. They limited engine use to two races, one set of tires per race (including qualifying sessions) and others.
Its now really up to the mechanics to make do with what they have and for the drivers to really earn their paychecks!

Bridgestone's only advantage against Michelin is in the USGP so far. That's a free win for Schumi by the way.
Too bad Montoya had problems while in the lead. He could have won or at least taken second. At this rate, the McLaren pair can easily make a 1-2 finish with their performance, but reliability issues still gives Renault some hope to win the WDC and WCC (at least before Hungary).
One more good thing about McLaren's problems is that they happen to either Kimi or Juan Pablo, and not just one driver all the time unlike in other teams.
Daming issue ng SU7:grin:
