    Qualifying results last night
    1. LH - McLaren
    2. FM - Ferrari
    3. HK - McLaren
    4. JT - Toyota
    5. FA - Renault
    6. KR - Ferrari
    7. RK - BMW/Sauber
    8. MW - Red Bull-Renault
    9. SV - STR-Ferrari
    10. DC - Red Bull-Renault

It seems like KR and RK are in a slide while LH and FM are on the rise....

Interesting race to watch tonight at 8PM.

Hmmm looks like Toyota is getting competitive. This is the second time they performed well in qualifying. Also I still cant get over the fact of how much difference the performance are between Piquet Jr. and Alonso. I mean either Piquiet's car is filled to the brim with fuek or he really is a lousy driver. (or both)
He didnt even get past Q1.

As for the BMW cars, I dont know what happened to Heidfeld but ever since this season started his performance has sharply dimmed. Either hes performance has really deteriorated or hes just looking bad because of Kubica!

As for the Ferrari, Its about time Massa kicks it up a notch following his dismal (or should I say horrendous) performance in Silverstone.

Hamilton is starting to be the man. If things go well for him (and every indication is that it might) then I think he'll ace this race again. Although from the looks of it Kovaleinen has something to say about that.

Everyone in the top 10 are more or less on the same fuel strategy.... So, it looks like LH is going to nail this down again.... KR is now 5th, behind LH, FM, HK, RK (big jump)....

Forget what I said about Piquet, I guess he was just full to the brim with fuel ... and man did that strategy work or what? Its a good finish for him and hopefully boosts his confidence enough so that he can start winning consistently.

Anyway remind me that team Mclaren practices team strategy the next time I forget. HK was ahead of Hamilton in the final laps, that overtake was so fake it was laughable. The least they could have done is made it looked halfway convincing, (That close up of Ole Ron Dennis with his finger on the HK's radio button didnt help either).

Agree with you on NP,- the commentators were really surprised when he didn't pitstop for fuel(and tyre).... Well, the strategy worked! Great one from Lover Boy Flavio! I could imagine him grinning ear to ear when the safety car came out... I think Ferrari realized this late in the race or FM's car is just too slow to catch up, while McLaren was really racing....

And, the overtaking move of LH on HK was so lame... Obviously, team orders... Anyway, LH really raced well last night!

I was just thinking if Kovaleinen decided to give Hamilton a bad time and not let him pass, the delay could have been just enough to let Nelson Piquet finish first!

That would surely put Alonso's foot in his mouth for he was always chiding Nelson Piquet to score some points, but if that scenario happened he would have scored (in one race) more points than Alonso had since the start of the season.
