Fording your vehicle in floodwaters is also expensive as you are obliged to change most of the fluids (engine oil, tranny & diff oil, brake fluid, repack bearings, regrease ball joints, tie rod ends, U-joints, bushings, etc). This are the things you need to do if you want your vehicle to last. So if you can avoid a flooded street do so.....
