most people wouldn't call it drifting but rather "ass dragging". it's possible tho; IIRC, there was a civic that appeared in a D1 event and another one that competed in Formula Drift in Hawaii. from what I remember, they're running skinnier tires in the rear with a decent amount of toe-in, ultra stiff rear spring rates and a whole lot of e-braking.

Yup... it's possible, but it's not very pretty. Most drift "purists" frown upon it, but hell, drifting, in its basic sense, is not just power sliding. It's about precise car control and balletic, graceful movements. Hence, the "stunt teams" that use front-wheel drive Minis for tire-smoking car control exhibitions.

But in the sport of drifting, RWD rules. If you've got a nice front wheeler, there are more interesting sports... like rallying...

Team audio drive is in the sta rosa area, right beside waltermart...they have a drift team that is comprised by Pia Boren (the only lady drifter in the phils) and also pro drifter Paolo Arespacochaga...they are in the process of starting a drift school in the area as well. So guys if you are intrested you could pass by their shop
