    What's the current standing now?

From the last standings that I've seen, it was:

    1. Nissan
    2. Volkswagen
    3. Nissan
    4. Mitsubishi
    6. Mitsubihi

Seems that Nissan will break the yearly Mitsubishi winning-tradition. Am also surprised that Volkswagen is doing quite good!

the best toyota could do was 18th and 24th pa ata yung land rover.

why can't mitsubishi use these wins to fortify its place in the SUV market? saan ba sila dehado?

Ang nakatalo lang sa Pajero/Montero ay yung Schleisser 2WD buggies a couple of years past.

pero may time na schlesser almost won over masuoka in the dakar because of unsportsmanly conduct, he didn't let masuoka pass and masuoka resorted to passing sa side and he hit a tree stump behind some grass, irreparably bending his left rear suspension. DQ tuloy siya, the win went to 2nd placed kleinschmidt who was at that time a mitsu works driver. :D
