    Young Alessandra set to conquer Asia

    Phenomenal young lady karter Alessandra Madrigal of Alessandra Racing-PCR is ready to face tough challenges ahead as the 2005 National Karting season kicks off on March 12- 13 at Carmona Circuit Philippines.

    Madrigal, 9, will also compete in prestigious karting races in Asia.

    And with the vital support of principal sponsor ING bank, major sponsor Globe Gizmo and co-sponsors Dickies and Petron, Alessandra hopes to raise the country’s flag high in the international circuit.

    "This will be my first time to compete abroad. I am excited and nervous but I’ve been practicing a lot so I can make the country proud," she said.

    After ruling all the five races she joined in the Cadet 60 class, Alessandra is setting her eyes on the Cadet 85 crown this year.

    On March 27, she will be making her debut in the international scene as she flies to Bangkok to compete against the best in the Thailand national karting series. Vital information, race schedules and updates are on www. alessandraracing.com.

    Her parents Gerard and Terri Madrigal said her participation is made possible by her sponsors, personal coach Allan Uy, her mechanics, and everyone at Carmona Circuit Philippines who have been instrumental in developing her racing skills.

    "We are much more excited about this year," they said. "Because this year she will be racing against the best of the whole Asian region."

    Kaya naman pala anak ng pating.

    Nakita ko yan last year sa boom na boom kart track. May sarili siyang kart kt100 ata, she has her own personal trainer, dala ang yaya, bodyguards, 2 expeditions and a benz s320.

    After her practice session she raised her hands then her bodyguards removed her gloves tapos pinayongan ng yaya. opo kamahalan hehe
