    However, The grid for Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix looks quite a bit different to the final results from qualifying as not one or two, but five drivers were handed grid-slot penalties for changing their engines.

    Mukang naka low fuel load ang Williams at si Fishi kaya maganda ang result ng Qualifying nila. Can't wait to see the Race later today. Ang speculation ay si Jenson ang malaki ang potential na manalo dito sa race na to. .... pero syempre, solid McLaren pa din ako.

    Two big potential affect sa race mamaya... yung fuel-rig problem ni Alonso during qualifying. Renault were not able to put into Alonso's fuel the amount of fuel they wanted for the start of the race - teams are not allowed to refuel between qualifying and race.

    Yung second concerns Ferrari V8s.In the red garage, Ferrari is dealing with a potential crisis of engine reliability, with Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa demoted a combined 30 places on the grid due to problems with their V8s. Schumacher's change drops him to the midfield, while Massa had two engine changes on Saturday, costing him an outlandish 20-position grid downgrade.

    Ferrari's problem is cracking pistons.

    "I will be surprised if we can end up on the podium from where we are," Schumacher remarked after qualifying, "but we go for it."

    Both Williams out because of engine troubles, and so is the BMW of Heidfeld. Raikkonen hit at the first lap, spun off, damaged suspension.

    Its a shame...its looks as if someone hit Raikkonen hard in the rear right side of the Mclaren in the opening lap, causing a premature suspension failure.

    Both Red Bulls are out as well, a lap apart due to technical failures.

    Massa is a surprise today. Qualified lower than Michael but managed to finish in the points and ahead of his teammate.

    Hehehe...Sato tried to unlap himself by driving all over and trying to overake, I think, Scott Speed of STR Cosworth (nee. Minardi)

    It was a boring Malaysian GP. The cars were so wide apart, there wasn't really any race at all. After seeing Raikonnen crashing into the wall and Nico Rosberg in flames, I had a feeling this is going to be one of those jinx races.

    Too many engine failures. And the fact that the drivers were inclined to drive in cruise control mode in the final laps to preserve their engines for the next race sort of took the excitement out of it all.

    The new qualifying gimmick I admit has become more interesting. But I think they are burning too much fuel in exchange for it.

    Basing from your comments, it seems like it was not an interesting race at all. Though Renault finished strong and Jenson Button making it to the Podium, engine troubles were the big culprit for such a dull. This can be attributed to the fact that Sepang is one of the hottest, if not the hottest, racetrack literally. Kaya such headche woes the team. And this means Renault's devastating level of performance so far seems no match to other teams.

    Raikkonen was hit by Klien during the first lap and that caused him to get out of the race very early. Alonso had a very good start and overtaken the 2 McLaren's easily from the start. Fisichella gets away too fast from the pack. Medyo tinamad na ko manood after ma out si Kimi, pero very strong talaga ang Renault sa race na ito. BMW also show s some improvements here as compared with the last race in Bharain.

    what a disappointment for the williams team. They were in contention for a podium finish.Ferrari is really back in this years championship although renault came out good in the 1st two races we cant count out the former world championships.

    I think its the nature of the sepang track which limits overtaking and the long pit lane which makes it a little bit boring for the spectators.

    Actually, many other tracks don't have much overtaking opportunities also - like Monaco or France, it's just that the cars ended up too far apart in this Sepang race and many exciting drivers retired early. Look at Montoya, he was like what - 30 seconds away from Button? Even Button was 5 seconds away from Alonso.

    Awhile back there, I thought Michael Schumacher was in contention for a podium finish, when he ran out of gas and had to pit. He ended at the tail end of Massa as a result.
