i don't know what demographic kim was particularly targeting or did jwalterthompson missed the brief by a mile and went for the easy shockvertising instead.
the ad is quite vexing for relatives and friends who are in the medical field. i know nothing about their tax return but
tax avoiders and tax evaders can come in all flavours and sizes
the agency's running out of good ideas to kinda 'engage' your attention. so they settle for stupid ad campaign like this print which naturally backfires. advertising is just a small fraction of marketing. they could raise awareness and drive the point across, effectively if they committed themselves to the other aspects of marketing like pr and customer service and satisfaction. just too darn lazy.

If you're paying the correct tax hinde ka dapat affected.
The ads named the offending tax cheat. Which happens to be a doctor. It didn't say ALL doctors are tax cheats.
Never pa ako na issue na receipt ng mga doctors, meron pala Isang doctor sa makati med mas mahal if you asked for a receipt.
Diba there was two ads came out of the paper. Yun isa parang chef naman but I don't remember kung anong field yun nakapasan or doctor din?

i totally understand and don't judge people who don't pay their tax properly. sino ba naman gaganahan mag bayad ng tax sa atin diba? for me i don't mind paying the proper tax and even if they raise it, it's totally fine with me as long as i see that my hard earned money is being spent properly and not being used by our government to pay for their luxurious life style. kaso talagang garapalan na pag nanakaw ginagawa sa atin, dapat nga since puro kalokohan lang ng yayari sa government natin eh pwede tayo mag file ng tax return at tigil ang pag bayad ng tax hanggat di na kukulong mga sangkot kay napoles. tingnan natin kung hindi bumilis ang kaso nan.

just imagine what would happen to our country, if pareho lahat ng palusot na di dapat magbayad ng buwis, dahil may nagnanakaw sa gobyerno; {papano yung ibang matino?}; di dapat magbayad, until yung ibang kilalang tax evader ay magbayad muna {pano magfunction ang govt?}
yung mga tinamaan, puro palusot . .

maybe OT here.

My thoughts on evading tax because it's not put into good use - be the change you want to be in this world.
Evading tax is thievery, just like stealing from the public's coffers.

If one is paying the correct taxes. I don't know why you should feel alluded to. Doesn't make sense. Baka guilty?

Meron pang ibang group.
Henares further said that the BIR is not singling out doctors since they also have other advertisements targeting online sellers and accountants.
Why not go after these tax evaders than waste the tax payers money on these stupid adds.
sinabi moh! i hardly see my children now. when they were young, schedules were more predictable.
