there's only one reason why one is unhappy with one's religion..."your faith is weak".
well, there's another reason.. i call it, the henry the eighth syndrome.. his religion prevented him from divorcing wifey, to take on an improved model. that the fate of his kingdom was at stake, was .... you know.. the law may be harsh, but it is the law..

I am a catholic only in documents and thats it. I Am very happy. Religon prevents people from logical thingking and reasoning. Parang sakit or like they're under a spell.

Pag may nakakausap ako at inumpisahan na nya subject about religion iniiwanan ko. Tinging nila wala na silang masasabing mali. I hate this phrase "as a <religion>". I still respect what they believe, ayoko lang sa iba kala nila mas mataas sila sayo kasi they belong to a certain religion.

You are correct on this observation that some people sound all knowing about their religion. And oftentimes, they would argue like they are correct all the time. Sa atin naman na Katoliko, some catholics deems it their duty to evangelize and spread the Word. Well, if you do not like these catholics preaching, you have the choice to walk away, ignore them and refuse to listen to them. Or not to read any catholic publication, in print or through internet, including made in this forum. This is a free country and nobody can force anybody on the matter. The good thing about us is that at present, our catholic faith, when preaching, generally does not disparage or attack other religious beliefs and practices. It can be noted that other religious denominations, in order to attract new members, always find fault in catholic beliefs and teachings. Catholics are more tolerant and this is one of the many reasons which makes me happy in my religion.

Went from being Roman Catholic to evangelical then baptist protestant then back to the Roman Catholic faith. My godfather guided me back. Have experienced personally miraculous things happening to me since and never been the same old self. Truly am happy and contented. Will stay a Roman Catholic.

No one could enter heaven because
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Death means one's soul will not die but will be in hell eternally.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But, we can be saved...
Roman 10 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

We can't be saved by just good works alone because of sin.
Ephesians 2 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

John14: 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

I'm not happy... wala na nga akong sinalihan na religion more the 10 years na. pero syempre naniniwala ako na may GOD

Noong isang araw may naka usap ako na Katari dito sa Doha isa syan business man maraming exclusive condo dyan sa pinas may asawang pinay. sabi nya sa akin lahat daw ng religion ay negusyo lang hahaha pero sabi nya sa akin ay mabuting muslim daw siya ako rin ang tingin ko sa lahat ng religion ay business, sorry po sa words ko sa opinion kolang po yan at wala akong pinapatamaan. marami narin palang umaalis sa Islam ano lumilipat sa Christian at marami ding Christian na nagpapa convert sa Islam balik Islam tawag nila. pero seyempre I respect the individuals belief religion nila di mo sila pwedeng kontrahin pwera lang kung open minded and tao. ako dati pinag mumura religion ko kung ano pang masasakit na sinasabi wala lang sa akin tinatwanan kolang sila sabi ko kahit ano pa sabihin mo ayus lang di ako napipikon
