I don't know if this question was already asked in this forum but I would like to ask the opinions of my fellow Tsikoteers regarding this matter.

All of us are capable of becoming of who we want to be and where we want to be diba? We can become successful in our crafts and once in a while, fail too!

But given the chance of becoming a public official, What position would you choose and why?

I'd like a job at the MMDA, the DENR or maybe the DOTC... the DECS would have been nice, until they broke it in half and created the beaureaucratic nightmare that is the the CHED and the DECS... besides... the infighting at the DECS would probably eat me alive...

Those places, one person can actually make a difference... see what Miriam did at Immigration before (before she became such an egotist)... and unlike being a Governor or a Mayor, your work has consequences for all Filipinos.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Director-General of the PNP.

I'd implement broad reforms and bring back the trust that the public used to have for the police. First thing I would do is fire the sleazy and corrupt cops and send them behind bars. Everything will follow and fall into place after that.

    Syempre, presidente.

I'll declare martial law, and dissolve congress.

    We need a fresh start.

    Senator

How hard can it be? Pa-upo upo ka lang in your big-ass chair, mag-suot ng eyeglass para sabihin matalino, magalit sa mga interviewees during a "Senate Inquiry" then eat a buffet lunch and dinner on the house!

Uwi ka pa sa big-ass house mo using an Escalade or Navigator or any guzzler of your choice.

    Repeat the following day!

President of course..1st agenda, set up an intelligence branch/secret police subservient only to the president, their job is to root out all enemies of the state, trouble makers, corrupt officials, big time tax evaders. All offenders will be liquidated to show an example to all. Their supporters will be put under surveillance. Those who will voice out their outrage on this measure will also be put under surveillance.

Be a weatherman at PAGASA. At this stage, I wouldn't need to work if my wife and I moved to the Philippines. But, I'd work just to keep busy.

PCCG top honcho. I will root out corruption from the past and lay out ground work for better governance of all controlled institutions.

I will also make sure that whatever gains i will get from my efforts will be plowed back to create sustainable development projects for the under priviledge.

if i become public official, i will also be religious and follow the religious belief "God helps those who help themselves"

so therefore, yun mga mayaman at may kaya na laging masipag ang apple of the eye ko. yun mga reklamador at puro prinsipyo at puro rights rights, less priority unless of course, tinamaan sila ng enlightenment and they'll initiate from within then they're welcome.
