    BLUE=Incumbents seeking re-election

At this point in time, three Senators are voluntarily retiring from the Senate at the end of their current term. As well two Senators are term-limited by the Constitution of the Philippines after serving two consecutive terms.

Richard Gordon: To run for President
Rodolfo Biazon: Term-limited in 2010, to run for Muntinlupa City's legislative district.
Mar Roxas: To run for Vice-President.
Aquilino Pimentel, Jr.: Term-limited in 2010
Jamby Madrigal: To run for President

Loren Legarda has not given up her senate seat and may return if she loses her VP bid..

    No to the Marcoses...

No to detained soldiers (no to half-ass senate work again because they're behind bars)...

No to those belonging to the 'red army' posing as champions of the people...

No to celebrities who take leave from public office to shoot movies, commercials, and such...

No to unknown sons/daughters of previous senators wanting to cling on to their position...

    No to the 'feeling-heroes-but-are-actually-just-as-guilty' whistleblowers...

No to ex-politicians with questionable track records shouting to the heavens their opposition to the admin...

    No to ID-10-T's...

Yes to Miriam Santiago, Ralph Recto, Pia Cayetano...

Pending are Juan Ponce Enrile, Susan Ople, Ramon Mitra, Rey Langit, and others...

Bro. Monseratto - thanks for highlighting the incumbent senators... Hindi ko sila iboboto, pati na rin iyong mga naging dating senators at iyong mga anak at kamag-anak ng (dating) senators...

Ano sila, hilo? Sila lang ba ang may abilidad na maging senators?

Weird as it may seem, and given the choices we have, I think the Philippine senate is not complete without Miriam Santiago.......srs.....really
