i watched portions of the JPE memoirs in ANC

the way i got it, Martial law was being contemplated as early as 1969 by FM, who consulted JPE and other more brilliant lawyers than JPE (kasi daw mga suma cum laude sa UP)

JPE said he was out of government and to form a law firm with Sen. Angara (now the ACCRA law) but was called back by FM. he also said, it was the NISA (national intel and security agency) who abused Martial law. though he headed the defense ministry that time, he had no control of NISA (it was Gen. Ver daw)

JPE said after the assassination of Ninoy, FM warned him that he was the next as target. since he heads the defense ministry and had Sen. Honasan as his aide, they trained and got superior firepower, which eventually led in the formation of the RAM (reform the armed forces movement)

Di ba sa isang TV movie regarding 1986 People Power, JPE sued the production outfit because he didn't like how he was portrayed in the film. The producer had to finish the shoot in Sri Lanka. The TV movie portrays JPE as a power grabber who was exposed by one of the coup plotters to Marcos. The night he was supposed to be arrested with Gringo, humingi ng saklolo kay Cardinal Sin and Ramos. Si Cory was only a prop and wasn't in JPE's plan to become President. PNoy seemed to have forgiven JPE association with Gringo, whose 1989 coup against Cory nearly killed PNoy...

tignan natin kung may mag-refute sa mga memoirs ni JPE

pero the TV version made it appeared unbiased kasi. ANZ also interviewed FVR, Rene Saguisag, Gringo, Sen Angara

ako, im just giving him the benefit of the doubt
