it's true.
some of the most delicious foods i have tasted, were from literal holes in the wall.

the best roast duck i have ever tasted, was from this hole in the wall sa palengke sa HK. the cook/waiter/owner, was this elderly gentleman dressed in simple, semi-tattered t-shirt and ancient, baggy pants.
then there was this grocery (since disappeared) at quezon avenue corner timog, that had a pancit corner that served the best pancit, in my opinion.
and of course, aling nene's barbecue. (well, it looks like a hole in the wall...).
