    Lower standards, younger police examinees


    EFFECTIVE May 28, the National Police Commission will lower the educational and age requirements for applicants to the police force.

    Napolcom vice chairman Imelda Roces said the commission will revert back to 72 units the educational requirement for applicants and 18 the age requirement to lure many examinees.

    She said civilians with the required college units may take the exams but should finish a four-year college course before he can be deemed qualified for appointment.

    At present, the age limit for a police examinee is 28 years old, and he can only be appointed once he reaches 30

    Sa mga nagagawang kapalpakan ng mga Police natin like ng TMG, binabaan pa nila ang requirements di kaya lalong magkalokoloko ang pinaggagawa nila. Imbes na maghigpit at masala ng husto ang mga magiging pulis lalo pang dadami ang pulis patola niyan.

    Ewan ko lang. Pero hindi naman na ganun kahirap pumasok sa kapulisan ngayon. 6 months training lang ata at most ang kailangan ko sabi ng boss namin sa legal med.

    Hindi Yung Edad Ang Baguhin Nila, Dapat Sistema At Lahat Ng Bulok Tanggalin At Dapat Pulis Ng Bayan Hindi Yung Pulis Ng Mga Pulitiko.

    paano be naman eh yan ang pinaka sure na employment dito sa atin eh 6 months training ka lang eh employed ka na agad forever. compared naman sa other profession eh ang tagal maghanap ng trabaho eh yan sure agad trabaho.

    kahit ano ang gawin nilang requirements dyan, ala pa ring pagbabago. kasi pinagmamalaki nila me bakal sila. buti pa ang mga sundalo disiplinado.

    malamang karamihan mga mag apply dito iyon mga undergraduate at may mga padrino din .sure ball kasi ang trabaho,lalo dadami mga PO1 na mga abusado ..sa TV patrol lang ang dami mga PO1 nasasangkot sa gulo .karamihan sa Beerhouse pa nag yari

    siguro meron isang anak ng isang general na 18yo palang at gusto ng ipasok sa pagkapulis. at dahil hindi pumasa sa age requirement, pinagawang 18yo para maipasok agad dahil hindi na makapaghintay si general ng another 10 yrs para lang maipasok ang anak dahil magreretire na sya.

    I have an ex-druggie and still-a-druggie friend who passed and finished a police exam and training. He's currently a police officer.
