September 6th, 2013 06:55 PM #25Even with the terrorism sponsorship thing, i still don't get it; Russia doesn't want the US/UN to approve a strike on Syria, so he's gonna start a war with a different country?
i think he's using SA as leverage: SA are tight with the US. They threaten SA, SA tells US "don't attack Syria"Last edited by badkuk; September 6th, 2013 at 07:02 PM.

September 6th, 2013 07:22 PM #28Just wondering out loud: there certainly are allegations that the rebels/al qaeda are the ones using chemical weapons. Granted that that's true...why doesn't al Assad just say it outright -- "al qaeda is in Syria, they're using Sarin on my people, please stop them"? . Won't it be to his advantage to let the US & company cruise-missile the hell out of the chemical weapons?
And why would the rebels(or anyone for that matter) film themselves using/testing chemical weapons? The footage doesn't seem like they were taken covertly.

And why would a rebel leader film himself eating a syrian army soldier's heart?
Why would al qaeda and taliban film themselves when they slaughter and bomb people?
Because they're freakin terrorists. They promote terror.
Even if Assad claims the rebels did it, do you really think mainstream media would listen to what he says?Last edited by safeorigin; September 6th, 2013 at 08:09 PM.

IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
